Childrens centres

Please find a link below to the Hertfordshire County Council website for children's centres.

If you type in your postcode, you will be signposted to your nearest centre and if you double click on the name of the centre you will see all the details including address and opening times:

Children’s Centres are developed so that children aged 0-5 years and their families and carers can benefit from a range of professional services, activities and support, in a convenient location.

Some of the services will be at different venues, but normally within the local community.

A Children’s Centre is a ‘One Stop Shop’ for information, advice and services.
It provides a network of all services within the community offering:

  • Childcare
  • Expert advice and healthcare
  • Family fun and meeting people
  • Links to training and job opportunities
  • Parenting and family support
