DR SACHIN GUPTA

MBBS (2001) MRCGP

Dr Gupta has interests in cardiology and teaching medical students. He is also a GP appraiser.

Dr Archeadcon is particularly interested in psychiatry. Other special interests include women's health and family planning. She also inserts contraceptive implants.

MBChB MRCGP DFSRH

Dr Nury runs a coil clinic and specialises in women's health and family planning as well as ophthalmology.

DR JENNY HOPWOOD

MB BChir (Distinction), BA (Hons), MA (Cantab), DRCOG, DCH, PGDip Medical Education ​

Dr ​Hopwood trained at the University of Cambridge and at University College London. She has a special interest in child health. She also has a keen interest in teaching medical students and trainee doctors.

Dr Meera Shah trained at Guys King's and St Thomas' Medical School. She has special interests in women's health, neurology and elderly care medicine.

DR RAHUL SHAH

Dr Shah has a keen interest in diabetes dermatology. Dr Shah is also involved with medical student training.

We are a training practice and we have fully qualified doctors completing their training in general practice.

Nurse Practitioners

JANE HICKLING

Jane is a Nurse Practitioner and is able to deal with minor illnesses and prescribe medications and so if often an appropriate alternative to seeing a GP. She runs a minor illness clinic, diabetic clinic and COPD clinic.

KAREN VENABLES

Karen is a Nurse Practitioner and is able to deal with minor illnesses and prescribe medications and so is often an alternative to seeing a GP. She has an interest in respiratory conditions. Karen is also the practice lead for Infection prevention and control, IPC, please let her know if you have any concerns

VIVIAN OWUSU

Vivian come from working in hospital setting working Oncology. Vivian has some experience in gneral practice but will be undertaking her Practice Nurse Training over the next few months

Nursing Associate

KATIE MOULE

Female

Katie has qualified as a Nursing Associate and is currently undertaking her Fundamental in Practice Nursing. As part of this course. Katie can undertake a wide range of duties including wound care, dietary advice, frailty checks, ear irrigation, B12 injections, ECGs and Pill checks

Pharmacists

ANIL TOSAR

Clinical Pharmacists are able to do medication reviews and deal with prescription queries. Anil is is an independent prescriber with over 2 years experience in general practice and specialises in Asthma

PRAHLAD KATECHIA

Prahlad joins our team of Clinical Pharmacists with several years experience of working within primary care. Prahlad will be undertaking medication reviews, handling prescription queries and be involved with aspects of medicines management at the practice.

Physiotherapist

PEACE ANIOGBO

Peace is providing physiotherapy advice, exercises and is able to refer for further investigation for musculoskeletal pain

Social prescribers

Our social prescribers can help with accessing support in many different social areas including: Mental Health, benefits, debt, housing, isolation, carer assessment, social care assessments, equipment, employment, food banks. They can also also offer practical support with form filling, paperwork, accessing community activities and motivation.

Practice Management

NATALIE COX

Deputy Practice Manager Natalie is involved in managing the operational aspects of the practice. She is focussed on making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care. She manages the practice team. She works closely with the GPs and other clinical staff delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.

SANDIE INCE

Sandie joined Garden City Practice in February 2021 as Practice Manager. She brings with her a wealth of Practice Management Experience

Reception

Receptionists provide an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They can provide basic information on services and results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. Receptionists make most of the patient appointments with the GPs and nurses. They also perform other important tasks such as issuing repeat prescriptions and dealing with repeat prescriptions and prescription queries.

SARAH CUBBIN

Sarah has recently been appointed as our Reception Manager and is responsible for overseeing the reception team. Sarah has worked at the practice for 4 years and brings a lot of experience to the role

Counsellor

Health Visitors

A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing.
